We have an immediate opening for a
Labor &
Employment Associate in
California with a minimum of three years of experience in California employment
law. This position is a full-time opportunity and will work with
attorneys across our various offices. The position is open to our Los Angeles
or Oakland offices, or can be filled in our virtual office, The Link. Comprehensive
experience with federal and state employment law claims is required.
Candidates need to be comfortable advising clients on day-to-day
employment issues and be able to provide guidance and strategy to clients
quickly and will have extensive knowledge of California Court rules.
Candidates should have expansive experience with all stages of employment
litigation in California federal and state courts and be able to run a case
with limited supervision. FLSA and Wage and Hour experience a plus.
The ideal
candidate will have an excellent academic record, solid writing skills, strong
interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, superior
judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, the ability to
articulate legal strategies and courses of action, and a commitment to the
community. Candidates should have a California bar license.
