Husch Blackwell, a national law firm, has an immediate
opening for a Corporate Associate
with three to five years of experience. We
will consider candidates for any of our offices including our virtual office,
The Link. The ideal candidate will have a general corporate background with specific
experience advising investment management companies, assisting with fund
formation, and handling compliance and operational securities issues. Experience
with venture capital, private equity, and real estate funds is preferred. Candidates
should have requisite experience with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and
Investment Company Act of 1940, as well as other relevant securities rules and
regulations.
The candidate must be detailed oriented and have a strong
academic record, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with
a team, superior judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects,
and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.
Candidates should have an active bar
license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying
or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible. We look for dynamic and
entrepreneurial individuals with varied backgrounds, interests, and experience
for a diverse candidate pool.
Pursuant to Colorado’s Equal Pay for
Equal Work Act, the compensation range for this position in Denver is $210,000
to $230,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Associates
are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.
