Attorney Briana M. Givens is a founding partner of Givens & Larmond Law Group. She represents clients in personal injury matters who sustain serious injuries. Ms.Givens has extensive experience in automobile accidents, sexual assault matters, premises liability, products liability, family law, and pharmaceutical class action lawsuits.

Prior to starting Givens & Larmond Law Group, Ms. Givens was selected as a Diversity Fellow through the San Diego County Bar Association’s Diversity Fellowship Program. Ms. Givens did her fellowship as a law clerk at defense firm Andrews Lagasse Branch & Bell LLP where she gained experience defending corporations in employment lawsuits. Thereafter, Ms. Givens was hired as a law clerk and associate attorney at one of the top personal injury firms in San Diego, Casey Gerry. Ms. Givens represented clients with catastrophic injuries in complex litigation matters. Briana has settled multi-million dollar lawsuits against the government and large corporations.

Ms. Givens earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. During law school, she published her law review Note and was elected as the Executive editor of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review. Ms. Givens and her Managing Board peers made history when they became The First All Black Women Law Review Managing Board in California.

Ms. Givens graduated cum laude from the University of California, Riverside. While at UCR, she worked for AmeriCorps and the UCR Recreation Center while being a full-time student. She also received an Associate’s Degree from Cerritos College.

Ms. Givens is first-generation Mexican American and Black woman. Her mother is from Mexico. She was born and raised in Palm Springs, California and has lived throughout southern California. She speaks Spanish and enjoys playing basketball and watching sports.
