Jarred P. Reed is an associate in the Madison County office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Products Liability, Toxic Tort, & General Liability Practices. Jarred earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from George Mason University and his Juris Doctor degree from The University of Tennessee College of Law. While in law school, he was awarded the Julian Blackshear, Jr. Outstanding Student Award and served as Captain of the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Team.
Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Jarred represented various Fortune 500 retailers in products liability actions. He also represented national insurers in general liability matters including automobile negligence. Jarred continues to do the same at Lewis Brisbois and has expanded his practice to asbestos litigation and breach of contract litigation.
Jarred currently serves as the first African-American President of his high school’s alumni association. His hobbies include international travel, attending concerts, and playing basketball.
Jarred is admitted to the State Bars of Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, and the District of Columbia. He is also admitted into the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois; U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri; U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri; and U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.
