Husch Blackwell, a
national law firm, has an immediate opening in its Denver, Kansas City, St.
Louis or Washington, DC offices for a Workplace Safety and Health/Labor
& Employment Attorney with a
minimum of five years of experience. The candidate should have experience representing
clients in matters relating to OSHA and other health and safety laws, including
retaliation claims under the OSH Act.
Other experience with state and federal employments laws is also
preferred, but not required.
The
ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the
community, superior interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated record of working
well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional
judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability
to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active bar license in the
state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to
obtaining one as soon as possible.

Pursuant to Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act,
the compensation range for this position in Denver is $220,000 to $260,000,
commensurate with qualifications and experience. Associates are eligible for an
Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus. In addition,
employees receive a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental,
and vision.
