Husch Blackwell, an AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a mid-level
Commercial Litigation Associate with
2-5 years of experience to join its expanding Los Angeles office. The ideal
candidate will have experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation
including, but not limited to, experience conducting preliminary investigations
and responding to discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions,
participating in mediation, drafting dispositive motions in state and federal
court and extensive communication with clients. The candidate will work
primarily with attorneys in our Real Estate, Development & Construction strategic
business unit.
The candidate must have a strong academic record,
strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, superior
judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability
to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Real estate litigation
is a plus. The preference is for the person to be based out of Husch
Blackwell’s Los Angeles office with the ability to work remotely in a hybrid
manner.
