HADIYA WILLIAMS advises individual and corporate clients through complex litigation, appeals, and regulatory matters. She also handles product liability and mass tort litigation on behalf of life sciences and consumer products companies and has published on the courts’ evolving trends in remote trial testimony.
While attending New York University School of Law, Hadiya served as an executive editor for the New York University Law Review and the co-chair of the Black Allied Law Students Association. She was awarded the Dean John Sexton Convocation Prize upon graduation. Hadiya received her Masters of Public Policy, her B.S. in psychology-neuroscience, and her B.A. in anthropology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she graduated cum laude.
Prior to joining Sidley, Hadiya was a staff attorney at a nonprofit organization, where she provided legal assistance to low-income New Yorkers with serious health problems involving issues of immigration, housing, public benefits, and advanced planning directives.
Hadiya is a notary public in New York. She is proficient in Spanish.
