Christopher M. Lewis is an Associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP’s Lexington office. Mr. Lewis holds a B.A. in Political Science from Georgia Southern University and a J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law. Mr. Lewis has experience representing defendants and insurers in a variety of legal matters including catastrophic torts, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability claims, products liability claims, and equine law cases.
Prior to joining Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP, Mr. Lewis served as a Staff Attorney in Warren Circuit Family Court under the Honorable Judge Catherine Rice Holderfield. Thereafter, Mr. Lewis worked at a local insurance defense firm where he consistently obtained favorable outcomes for his clients. Mr. Lewis also has experience working for the University of Kentucky’s Office of Institutional Equity and Equal Opportunity. In that role, Mr. Lewis was responsible for investigating complaints of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct asserted by members of the University of Kentucky community.
Mr. Lewis was born in Oklahoma but was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Outside of the office, Mr. Lewis enjoys spending time with his wife, exercising, watching sports with friends, and meeting with his men’s Bible study group.
