Chike Croslin, a senior managing associate at Sidley Austin LLP has the rare distinction of representing prisoners and asylum seekers before the Supreme Court of the United States. He also represents clients in a variety of statutory, constitutional and regulatory matters, including in federal agency proceedings, federal trial courts, and the federal courts of appeals.

Prior to joining Sidley, Chike served as a law clerk to Judge Tanya S. Chutkan on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and to then-Chief Judge Carl E. Stewart on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. At the conclusion of his clerkships, the American Inns of Court selected him as a 2018 Temple Bar Scholar.

Chike earned his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where he served as a notes editor of the Harvard Law Review, represented clients in prisoner’s rights litigation before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights as a student-attorney with the International Human Rights Clinic, participated in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition and received the 2014 Ford Foundation Public Interest Law Fellowship.
