Katina Chase is a distinguished attorney with a focused practice in workers' compensation law. She earned her J.D. from Howard University School of Law in 2011 after completing her B.A. at William Paterson University in 2007. Katina is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and holds federal admissions to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Her career began with a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Thomas A. Brown, Jr., P.J. Cr., at the Superior Court of New Jersey, where she gained invaluable exposure to court operations and judicial processes.

Katina is an engaged leader in the legal community. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Diversity, Inclusion, and Leadership Committee for the Burlington County Bar Association (2024-2025) and as Secretary of the Association of Black Women Lawyers of New Jersey (2024-2025). Her active membership in the Garden State Bar Association further reflects her dedication to promoting diversity and equity within the legal profession.

Committed to community involvement, Katina mentors young individuals through the “I Dare 2 Care Association,” helping to inspire and support future leaders. Her creative side shines in her love for poetry, which she enjoys reading and writing, and she has even performed spoken word.

With more than a decade of experience as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender in New Jersey, Katina has a proven track record of managing complex felony cases, including those involving attempted murder, robbery, aggravated assault, and drug offenses. Overseeing a caseload of more than 250 clients, she has provided comprehensive representation through every phase of litigation, from client counseling and investigation to drafting motions and leading trial proceedings.

Katina Chase is known for her strategic litigation skills and commitment to advocating for her clients. Her legal proficiency, leadership roles, and dedication to community service make her a respected and influential figure in the field of law.
