Dionne Webster-Cox is the principal of her firm, The Webster Law Office, PLLC. For more than 15 years, she has practiced law focusing on personal injury, estate planning, criminal law, civil rights, and human and women’s rights. At the onset of her career, Webster-Cox worked at one of Detroit’s leading corporate healthcare insurance companies, Blue Cross, for seven years.
But today, Webster-Cox and her team find themselves doing the most important work of her career. She is changing the pulse of America on race relations and discrimination. Amidst increased racial reckoning and the #MeToo movement, she finds herself on the front line of social justice and civil rights advocacy in Metro Detroit. The Webster Law Office prides itself on fighting for those wronged, hurt, harmed, and endangered in various circumstances.
Webster-Cox has been featured in major local, national, and international news outlets for fighting injustices for her clients. Webster-Cox is a lifetime member of the NAACP. She is a Member of Black Women’s Lawyers Association, Michigan Association of Justice, National Bar Association, and Martha Cook Alumnae Association Board. She is a graduate of Thomas Cooley Law School, The University of Michigan and Cass Technological High School. Webster-Cox has been honored as a 2022 Diversity Business Leader in Michigan by Corp Magazine and the 2022 State Bar of Michigan Outstanding Achievement Award.
She enjoys cultural events, music, Capoeira, Brazilian jujitsu, and traveling the world with her daughter in her spare time
