Jordan Thompson is a member of the firm's technology transactions practice group where he focuses on negotiating agreements and counseling clients on issues relating to the development, licensing, and commercialization of technology, data, content, and intellectual property rights. He works on deals across a broad range of technologies and industries, including AI, cloud services, fintech, media & entertainment, and sports.
In addition to his experience with strategic and commercial deals involving emerging technologies, Jordan also advises clients on various aspects of advertising, marketing and promotions law and provides product counseling support for new launches. He also manages the intellectual property aspects of merger, acquisition, asset sale, and financing transactions.
Prior to joining DWT, Jordan represented companies on deals involving intellectual property licensing, venture capital and private equity financings, and other corporate transactions. As a former Wall Street associate with a background in business development, Jordan implements strategic thinking to help turn his clients meet their business goals.
