Andrew is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Construction and Business Litigation practice groups. 

Andrew has experience conducting all stages of litigation, including analyzing case law and drafting memoranda, motions, and briefs on complex commercial, product liability, higher education and construction issues. He has drafted discovery requests, responses, and settlement agreements and negotiated commercial contract settlements. Andrew also has court experience arguing motions on behalf of his clients.

Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Andrew supported complex commercial litigation and tort matters at a specialized litigation and commercial real estate firm. He has also interned with the Forsyth County Public Defender’s office and the NAACP.

Andrew holds a J.D. from Elon University School of Law, where he served as Staff Editor of the Elon Law Review. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Louisville, where he was a member of the National Political Honor Society. He was also a member of Louisville’s NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis team, earning a spot in the school’s tennis hall of fame.

After a successful collegiate tennis career, Andrew spent six years competing on the professional tennis world tour as a player with the Association of Tennis Professionals, holding an ATP ranking and competing against the best competition in the world. In addition to his legal career, Andrew operates his own business, “On the Rise Coaching,” through which he coaches and mentors aspiring elite athletes nationwide.
