A Texas native, Simone L. White attended The University of Texas at Austin where she studied and researched microorganisms. While there, she also studied abroad in Siracusa, Italy and examined the effects of poor nutrition on the elderly and refugee populations. Her research into global health continued in Changuinola, Panama where she set up medical clinics in its rural areas to help patients receive medical treatment. Simone then worked as a microbiologist testing the efficacy of antibiotics and other antimicrobials against microbes for companies.

After working as microbiologist, Simone attended law school at Texas A&M School of Law on a Dean’s Scholarship. During her time at Texas A&M Simone was inducted into the legal honor society, Phi Delta Phi. She subsequently interned and externed for the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office in the Grand Jury and While Collar Crimes division, respectively. Simone was then awarded one of a handful of judicial clerkships by the Dallas Bar Foundation and clerked for Chief Justice Carolyn Wright of the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Dallas, Texas as a recipient of the Collins Clerkship. She also served as Executive Articles Editor of Texas A&M’s Journal of Property Law, Treasurer of the Black Law Student Association, and as a Research Assistant in Healthcare Law.

After law school Simone spent years representing the disabled in administrative hearings across the country and cross-examining medical and vocational experts regarding the disabled individuals’ physical and mental capabilities. She then transitioned to representing plaintiffs injured by medical devices, drugs, and other products. Coincidently, Simone represented plaintiffs in gig economy cases involving mass arbitration, wage and hour disputes, consumer protection matters, and medical malpractice cases.

Simone now uses her experience and knowledge to help businesses navigate legal challenges.
