Nationwide — Meet Kimberly Barrow, MSN, APRN, NP-C, an incredibly accomplished family nurse practitioner from Jacksonville, FL who is taking Houston by storm. Disheartened by the healthcare disparities in the community, she established a family medicine clinic called Kimberly Cares, LLC to provide low-cost medical services for adults and children. Her practice has served thousands of clients to date with plans for further expansion.

Kimberly Cares offers a number of services including general wellness, women’s health, pediatric, weight management, DOT, and other occupational services.

As a Navy veteran and current Air Force flight nurse, Kimberly is also contracted to provide services for veterans. She has taught both undergraduate and graduate students, has participated in a number of small business panels, has addressed audiences as a keynote speaker, and has even created a small group to mentor other aspiring businesswomen and clinicians. Her ambition and passion for service helped her become one of Houston’s elite businesswomen.

She comments, “Quality of life is at the center. I am driven by a passion to serve and I intend to do just that because, at the end of the day, we’re all we’ve got.”
