Cincinnati Bar Association Elects Its First Black Female President

For the first time in its 151-year history, the Cincinnati Bar Association will name its first Black female president.

Hamilton County Municipal Court Judge Janaya Trotter Bratton will be sworn in Tuesday, April 25.

She joined the Cincinnati Bar Association (CBA) in 2005 and has served as a board member for seven years.

Bratton was previously elected as vice president of the CBA and will now ascend to lead the group, making her the first Black woman to be president.
