collaborative and solution-oriented leaders as candidates for its next City
Attorney. Located 15 minutes from
Downtown Denver with two regional light rail stations, Englewood is an ideal

Englewood is a home rule community, and its ideal location has led to
considerable small and larger business growth and redevelopment along with a
growing arts community.
The City Attorney provides legal services and advice
to the City of Englewood, its City Council, staff, and boards and commissions. The City Attorney is a full time City of
Englewood employee and is appointed by the Mayor and Council and reports to the
City Council. The City Attorney
oversees two Assistant City Attorneys as well as the City’s Prosecution
function. The Prosecutor’s office is
responsible for the day-to-day prosecution of municipal ordinances and violations
heard in Municipal Court.
The City Attorney works in close partnership with the
City Manager and other key leaders for the benefit of the City of Englewood and
to ensure the City and its municipal ordinances, policies and procedures comply
with all federal and state law and reflect best practices in municipal
governance and law.

starting salary range is $156,190 - $170,000 +/- DOQ. The City offers a comprehensive benefits
