Alexander ("Alex") is the founding/managing partner at Adewunmi Law Firm, PLLC.
Alex began his legal career in Dallas, Texas, as a Commercial Litigation Associate, where he primarily handled complex commercial litigation, arbitration matters, and a wide variety of civil disputes. Alex counseled clients in disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty, residential/commercial real estate disputes, and family law matters. Additionally, Alex assisted small businesses and entrepreneurs with entity formation, business operating agreements, employment/independent contractor agreements and other essential business-related legal services. In 2020, Alex was selected to join The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, an organization dedicated to championing African American legal excellence.
Alex graduated from the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law, the #1 law school in the nation for diversity. During his law school career, Alex served as a Staff Editor to the UNT Dallas College of Law Review and Accessible Law Journal, was named President of the Board of Advocates, and was a law clerk for both the 101st and 193rd Civil District Courts. Alex participated in Mock Trial competitions and earned distinctions, including Best Advocate and Finalist in the 2018 National Employment & Labor Law Mock Trial Competition.
