Anthony McCloud is an associate in Miller Canfield's Real Estate Group, whose practice focuses on providing service to individuals, corporations and startups.
His professional experience includes: real estate and corporate transactions; drafting, editing and revising listing and commission agreements, project management contracts, and liens; reviewing domestic and international brokerage laws to ensure statutory compliance; drafting exclusive representation agreements for offices in the United States and Canada; drafting a wide variety of contracts; corporate governance and compliance; mergers and acquisitions; entity formation and dissolution; intellectual property maintenance and licensing; and providing additional support to assist in both litigation and transaction-based disputes.
Anthony earned his B.A. from Eastern Michigan University and his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, where he worked with the school's Business Law Clinic and served on the Black Law Student Association Executive Board. He previously served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Justice Shelvin Louise Hall of the Illinois Appellate Court's First District and the Hon. Justice Carl Walker.
