Chasmine is an associate in the firm’s Class Actions and Mass Torts Practice Group. She represents clients in general and complex commercial business disputes in a wide-range of industries. She dedicates a large portion of her practice to the consumer financial services industry including alternative dispute resolution assisting in discovery and preparation of dispositive motions. Chasmine also has experience with media and technology-based companies, helping clients in a variety of legal disputes including First Amendment-related content and speech protection.

Prior to becoming an associate, Chasmine was a BCLP fellow, splitting her time between the Atlanta Legal Aid and the firm’s Class Action and Mass Torts Practice Group. In this role, she supported Atlanta Legal Aid through assisting in a wide-range of legal matters including assisting individuals in dispossessory proceedings and family law matters. 

While in law school, Chasmine was a regional board member of the Southwestern Black Law Students Association and a member of Texas Law Fellowships. She also served as a research assistant to Professor Tracy McCormack, focusing on the tort reform movement of the 1970s. She was a judicial extern to the Honorable Robert Pitman of the Western District of Texas and interned with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division.
