Christina is a tax associate in the Dallas office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Her practice includes a focus on the federal income tax aspects of complex domestic and cross-border transactions, and also a focus on all aspects of tax controversy matters.
Since joining Kirkland, Christina has been involved in the following matters:
- Franklin Mountain Energy and Avant Natural Resources on acquisitions by Coterra Energy Inc. (NYSE: CTRA) for an aggregate consideration of $3.95 billion.
- RedBird Capital Partners on its significant investment in Go Rentals, the premier luxury car rental provider in the United States specializing in premium end-markets.
- Blackstone Energy Partners on sale of Ulterra Drilling Technologies, L.P. to Patterson-UTI Energy, Inc. for aggregate consideration of $370 million of cash and $34.9 million shares of Patterson-UTI common stock.
- Major global financial institution in a cross-border tax evasion investigation and application of FATCA rules and treaties before US governmental bodies.
- Major energy company in a tax compliance matter before IRS Exam.
