As a former CPA, Chris brings a diverse background to his practice which includes a broad corporate practice advising clients on the legal and business implications of a range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, and corporate governance. Clients look to Chris to lead corporate transactions and help them advance key initiatives. Chris is noted for his talent for anticipating challenges, keeping even the most complex deals on track, and his commitment to producing excellence for Clients.
Prior to joining Riley Safer Holmes and Cancila, Chris also practiced mergers and acquisitions, private equity and international tax at AmLaw 100 firms and Big 4 accounting firms.
Chris is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, a double alum (BBA and MS) of the University of Cincinnati, and alum of the University of Missouri School of Law. Chris is a member of the Associate Board of the Chicago Committee for Minorities at Large Law Firms, the Governance Board of the Karen Wellington Foundation (a non-profit in Cincinnati, OH).
In his free time, Chris enjoys music and writing screenplays (TV shows in particular), and cheering for his sports teams.
