Dorthy Lukens' labor and employment practice includes litigating discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims. Dorthy also conducts nonsupervisory to executive-level internal employment investigations and advises companies on employment policies, separations, reasonable accommodations, and discrimination claims.
Prior to law school, Dorthy was a trusted corporate human resources executive. Her experience includes leading the human resources department for a national healthcare provider. Reporting to the president and CEO, Dorthy counseled senior management on local, state, and federal labor and employment matters and managed adverse employment action claims filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Texas Commission on Human Rights, and other state workforce agencies.
