Jada Jones is an associate in the firm’s Unscripted and Alternative Practice group. She enthusiastically supports the firm in its entertainment transactional law practice and in client development. She is passionate about her work with the Unscripted group and all of its extensions in the fast-evolving entertainment industry.
Jada came to the firm with a solid repertoire of experience. Prior to arriving at Del Shaw, she gained in-house transactional law experience with Entertainment One where she worked in the Business and Legal Affairs Department for the Unscripted Television group. Additionally, Jada’s past experience includes supporting the Head of TV Business Affairs at CAA and services to the General Counsel’s office at USC.
As a graduate of the USC’s Gould School of Law, Jada was fortunate to have dedicated mentors support her goal of becoming an entertainment attorney. She reciprocates that support by mentoring numerous aspiring entertainment law students. Also, while attending USC, Jada received the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles Scholarship and was actively involved in various organizations which include the Black Law Students Association. She participated in numerous community mentorship programs that serviced underserved students. Jada is also an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where community involvement is paramount.
Los Angeles has been Jada’s home since 2016 because of its thriving entertainment industry and providing the greatest opportunity to pursue her goals. Consistent with the firm’s philosophy, Jada deeply understands the importance of ensuring that clients feel valued and supported. In her spare time, Jada enjoys traveling, attending concerts featuring her favorite artists, and she is also a sports enthusiast who attends a wide variety of sporting events, including football, basketball, baseball and more.
