James A. Alexander, Jr.

James Alexander focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions, strategic investments, and general corporate matters. He represents clients ranging from private equity firms to technology startups.

James has substantial experience leading/managing deal teams and working collaboratively with management teams. He is adept at communicating complex legal issues and translating legal risk into business options. His depth of experience advising clients on privacy (CCPA/CPRA/GDPR), data security/cybersecurity, and complex commercial transactions, including drafting & negotiating licensing, SaaS, cloud services, payment systems, and intellectual property arrangements.
