Jessica Lamour earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where she received the Dean’s Scholarship Award. At Duke Law, Jessica served as a teaching assistant for Sarah Bloom Raskin’s courses in Business Associations, Law & Financial Anxiety, and Climate Change & Financial Markets. She also served as the president of the Women of Color Collective, the internal vice president of the Black Law Student Association, competition coordinator for Duke Law’s Moot Court Board, and as a representative for Duke’s Sports and Entertainment Law Society.

During law school, Jessica summered with a leading global law firm and with the general counsel team of an international bank. She also practiced as a student attorney for Duke’s Wrongful Conviction Clinic and Duke’s Children’s Law Clinic, where her work contributed to several victories for her clients.

Prior to law school, Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts from Emory University at age 20. During her undergraduate career, she was awarded the “Mayor’s Shining Scholar: Pursuer of Excellence Award.”

Jessica is fluent in English and Haitian Creole.
