Jordan Hameen is an associate in Sideman & Bancroft’s Brand Integrity and Innovation Group. She counsels clients on trademark, copyright, and advertising matters with a focus on global brand protection and emerging technology, including generative AI. Jordan brings a strategic, business-oriented approach to intellectual property enforcement and portfolio management.

She was selected to participate in the prestigious Google Lead Mentor Program, where she personally works with in-house counsel to discuss strategic approaches to various issues in the technology space. Jordan was also honored by The National Black Lawyers as a “Top 40 Under 40” for her contributions to intellectual property law. In addition, in recognition of her professional excellence, she was named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Intellectual Property Law for 2024 and 2025.

Jordan completed an in-house secondment at Adobe Inc., where she worked on advanced trademark and copyright matters at the intersection of artificial intelligence and creative technologies. Her prior experience includes advising clients on, trademark clearance, USPTO prosecution, brand enforcement strategies, and copyright fair use advising.

She has served as a law clerk for Gap Inc. in its brand services and commercial contracts groups and supported early-stage businesses as a legal fellow at Start Small Think Big, a nonprofit dedicated to economic empowerment. Jordan frequently leads IP workshops and educational sessions for entrepreneurs and creatives within underrepresented communities.

Jordan is an active member of the trademark community and has served on the International Trademark Association (INTA) Academic Committee. Also Jordan serves am on the Advisory Board for The San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association (SFIPLA).

While earning her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, Jordan served as a staff editor for the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Journal and was a two-time participant in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition, where she received first place for Best Oral Advocate in the Western Regional Division. Before entering the legal field, she worked as a Legislative Aide in the Georgia House of Representatives.
