I am a seasoned litigator with significant experience in civil rights, tort, employment, and government defense litigation. I have successfully defended a wide range of Section 1983 and tort claims in both federal and state courts, securing victories through dispositive motions, motions to dismiss and on appeal.I have prevailed in over a dozen motions for summary judgment, mediated before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and filed a successful appeal in the Illinois Appellate Court.
As a Senior Associate at DeVore Radunsky LLC, I litigated complex civil rights and employment matters, including wrongful death, class actions, constitutional claims under the First, Fourth, and Fourteenth Amendments, and workplace discrimination. I previously served in the Civil Rights/Tort Litigation Section of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where I managed the section’s heaviest caseload and achieved favorable outcomes in over 15 settlements and numerous dispositive motions.
Earlier in my career, I represented banks and financial institutions in foreclosure and eviction proceedings. I also served as Attorney and FOIA Officer for the Office of the City Clerk, City of Chicago, advising on regulatory, contractual, and compliance issues, including FOIA, ethics, union grievances, and cannabis licensing.

I earned my J.D. from The John Marshall Law School (now
– University of Illinois, Chicago law school) and my B.S. in Finance with a minor in Insurance from Illinois State University. I am admitted to practice in Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. I am an active member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Defense Counsel.
