Kadeja is an associate in the Healthcare practice and a member of the Change of Ownership (CHOW), Food & Drug, Hospitals & Health Systems, Life Sciences, and Post-Acute & Long-Term Care teams.
Kadeja focuses her practice on representing a wide range of clients in the healthcare industry by providing guidance on federal and state issues relating to compliance, facility licensure, certificate of need, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, HIPAA, and healthcare transactions. Additionally, she assists with advising pharmaceutical, biologic, medical device, cosmetic, and food (including dietary supplements and medical foods) companies on legal and regulatory matters relating to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Kadeja graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies concentrating on Law and Society. After graduation, Kadeja worked for Apple Inc. before returning to Georgia State University’s College of Law. While in law school, Kadeja was Chief Magistrate of the Honor Court and was heavily involved in the Health Law Partnership Clinic, where she assisted families with issues spanning from housing and education to social security supplemental income appeals. Kadeja received her Juris Doctor in 2021, graduated with a Health Law Certificate with honors, and received the highest distinction for her pro bono work.
