Kyle is a litigation and trial attorney in Charlotte, North Carolina handling personal injury matters, plaintiff’s side employment law, criminal defense, and civil litigation. Prior to founding The Watson Law Office, Kyle worked at one of the longest-standing law firms in South Carolina, and then at a top Am Law 200 law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. Along the way, Kyle’s practice focused on insurance defense, criminal defense, employment law litigation, and general civil litigation. While there, he was collectively responsible for hundreds of cases, taking multiple cases to trial and obtaining favorable outcomes – saving clients millions of dollars in the process. Through his multiple years of experience, Kyle has become extremely familiar with the many legal arguments, tactics, and strategies typically used against you at all stages of your case. Now, at The Watson Law Office, Kyle uses the very tools and skills necessary to ensure you achieve your desired result and understand the process every step of the way.

Kyle graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, Kyle interned at the Mecklenburg County Public Defender’s Office assisting with 5 habitual felony trials in three months–all in which the defendants were acquitted. He earned Cali Awards (highest class grade) in Torts, Advanced Evidence, and Trial Advocacy. He was also awarded the D. Reece Williams III Award in the ninth annual Judge J. Lyles Glenn Jr. and Terrell L. Glenn Sr. Mock Trial Competition in South Carolina. He was then recognized with the best advocate award at the Buffalo Niagara Mock Trial Competition in Buffalo, New York. During his time on the law school trial team, Kyle was a semi-finalist in the William Daniel Mock Trial Competition for two years and received the Most Professional award both years. During his final year in law school, Kyle was part of the team that launched to one of the top 10 trial teams in the country. Since then, Kyle has transformed that experience into obtaining real results for his clients.

Outside of practicing law, Kyle helps teach the next generation at UNC Charlotte, serving as an Adjunct Professor teaching those students the art of trial advocacy.
