Lauryn is an associate in the Austin office. Her practice focuses on renewable energy transactions such as the acquisition and sale of renewable energy projects, joint ventures, project development and matters concerning engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreements. Her practice also involves representing lenders, including bilateral and multilateral develop finance agencies, and borrowers in structuring, negotiating, documents and implementing domestic and international project financings.

  • Represented Jupiter Power in an agreement for Energy Vault Holdings, Inc. to supply services including provision of equipment, engineering, procurement, construction. commissioning and energy management of two battery storage projects (100MW battery storage energy system in Fort Stockton, Texas and 10MW system in Carpinteria, California).
  • Represented a leading US solar developer in its recent merger with a Fortune 500 global energy company.
  • Represented purchaser in relation to the acquisition of a solar powered electricity generating project.
  • Represented purchaser in relation to the acquisition of membership interests of a solar project.
  • Represented developer in negotiation of engineering, procurement and construction agreements for the provision of balance of plant construction with respect to three battery storage projects.
  • Represented seller in the acquisition of membership interests of a solar facility with battery energy storage.
  • Represented purchaser in relation to the acquisition of a 197 MW development stage wind energy facility.
  • Represented United States International Development Finance Corporation on the US$1 billion debt financing to finance Approved Vaccine procurement to eligible countries that participate in COVAX AMC. 
  • Represented the management team in an equity financing to launch a large-scale clean hydrogen pipeline transportation and salt cavern storage platform.
  • Represented BCPG Public Company Limited (BCPG) in relation to the purchase of cycle power generating portfolio from Carlyle.
  • Represented IRG Acquisition Holdings, a partnership between Invenergy, CDPQ and Blackstone Infrastructure, on the purchase of a 1,365 MW portfolio of operating wind and solar projects from American Electric Power for approximately $1.5 billion.
  • Represented Perennial Power Holdings, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation of Americas, in a joint venture transaction with Advantage Capital to establish Perennial Renewables LLC, a limited liability company that develops renewable energy projects with a focus on solar power generation.
