I suppose I am not the "average" attorney or what some people may think attorneys are like. I don't think I know everything, and don't act like I do. However, what I do know, I know well. I didn't dream of becoming a lawyer ever since I was a child. I didn't immediately go to college once I graduated high school, and I didn't attend law school in my 20's. I was born and raised in inner city (South Side) Chicago, and prior to becoming an attorney, I was married, had 2 daughters, and was working on a decade of being an officer with the Cook County Sheriff's Department. Through the years I have worked with, and worked for different agencies and clients.
I mention these things because I strongly believe that a truly competent attorney should have life experience, in addition to "book learning." It may sound incredible, but I actually became a lawyer because I didn't like or trust a lot of lawyers, and I wanted to make a difference in the community, and especially for disadvantaged and unprivileged people. I have been a licensed and practicing attorney in Florida since 2007, and have helped hundreds if not thousands of people in a variety of legal situations.
I am a voracious reader, and will be a lifetime student of humanity. If I don't readily know or have an answer to an issue or problem, I will definitely find the answer and ultimately, a solution.
I am a husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather, and much more. My reputation and honor are everything to me and those that depend on me.
