Education
Portia earned her Juris Doctor degree from University of Maryland in 2011, where she served as president of her class. Portia also earned a Master of Law and Letters from the Pepperdine University School of Law. She was awarded a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Pan African Studies from California State University, Northridge.
Personal Profile
Portia, grew up between Maryland and California. She is a three-time Women's singles tennis champion in Baltimore City. Portia spends her free time volunteering with the Gamble House as a Docent and the Links, Inc. supporting the youth in Los Angeles. Further, she enjoys golf, yoga, hiking, and raising her son Emerson James. The family lives in Los Angeles, CA.
