Stacy Young defends clients in complex product liability, premises liability, toxic tort, construction litigation, and insurance litigation with an acute attention to detail across numerous industries. Specific to her product liability practice, she defends major stone, motor vehicle, respiratory device manufacturers in high-exposure cases often involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death. She also represents clients in the vaping, e-cigarette, and cannabis industries on a variety of legal matters, including claims involving lithium-ion batteries, e-liquids, and vaping devices.
Stacy also has deep experience representing entertainment companies and amusement parks in premises liability matters. Additionally, she has defended developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and insurance carriers in construction defect related claims.
Stacy has extensive experience in developing, presenting, and cross-examining fact and expert witnesses. She is armed with a thorough understanding of California’s civil procedure. Her work includes researching cases, discerning relevant facts, researching novel areas of the law, and developing defense case strategies in complex litigation.
